Urban Capital Property Group
Urban Capital Property Group began its journey in 1996 with the 48-unit Camden Lofts development on Camden Street in Toronto’s then-underdeveloped Fashion District. This project set a new standard in Toronto’s development scene, emphasizing urban living with raw space and cubic footage. The Camden Lofts emerged from a belief that de-industrialized urban areas could be revitalized into vibrant urban centers, offering design-focused condominiums as a competitive alternative to suburban homes.
Following Camden Lofts, Urban Capital developed the 66-unit Charlotte Lofts and the 420-unit East Market in Ottawa, proving that their urban living concept had broader appeal beyond downtown Toronto. Since those early days, they have delivered over 4,900 urban condominiums, with another 3,900 under construction and several thousand more in development, amounting to over $4.4 billion in total. Expanding to cities like Montreal, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, and Halifax, Urban Capital has consistently pushed boundaries in urban locations, high-end functional design, and green living. Their ongoing projects continue to innovate with new markets, architectural approaches, interior features, and environmental measures.
